Dreampool Productions is an independent film development company focused on creating original, character-driven screenplays for film.
Founded by Tim McCausland and Cheryl McCausland, Dreampool develops projects across a range of genres, with a particular interest in stories rooted in history, place, and the unexpected circumstances that deposit ordinary people into extraordinary situations.
Completed feature scripts highlighted here include; Homegrown, Dutch Treat, Wolf Trap and The Coffeyville Two Step.
Our current development slate includes The Cayuga Pact, a historical drama set in Ithaca, New York, in 1860, and The Forsythe Man, a Cold War drama inspired by the secret government relocation facility hidden beneath a famous Southern resort.
The Dreampool projects found here span action thrillers, neo-noir, Westerns, comedy and historical fiction. While the stories may differ, the approach remains the same: compelling characters, a strong sense of place, and stories built to entertain.
